Stock price does not affect the monetary aspects of the company. If earning capability of the company decreases or if there any negative news about the company then stock price decreases. Generally decrease in stock price does not affect the monetary aspects of the company because company has already raised the capital in the IPO now the trading of shares is happening in the secondary market between the investors.
