Stock Market is a place where buyer and sellers trade/exchange on stocks. Nifty and Sensex are stock indices of NSE and BSE. Securities Exchange Board of India act as regulators for the securities market of India. Primary market is the market where a stock of a company is bought or sold for the first time. Secondary market is market where the stocks purchased in the primary market are traded.An IPO is Initial Public Offering. When a company needs more capital they issue stocks to the public through primary market. The compay will come under listing for the first time. Face Value is capital required to number of shares.Dividend is Profit realised by the company to number of shares.
Bonus is a free additional shares issued by the company to the exisisting share holder depending on the number of shares they already hold.
Split is spliting of existing shares by the company in order to increase the liquidity of stock in the market. By split the share price and the face value of the stock comes down.
