Market place has been created for trading stocks. It is nothing but a place where traders meet to fulfill their trade agreements.
we need stock market to contribute the listed company’s long term capital in terms of holding their stocks with the expectations of returns.
We shall be the owner of company and can gain voting rights through equity shares.
Few markets known to me are Vegetable market, fish market and flower market.
basically market is nothing, but place for trade.
Here difference between my known markets and share market is physical handling. Share market can be even handled virtually instead of physical handling.
Primary market is the place where trade happens with out stock exchanges like BSE and NSE. eg. issue of IPO
Secondary market deals only with stock exchanges.
