Basic analysis of stock market

*Stock market is the place where the buyer and seller connects to sell or buy their shares.
*IPO is the process of converting private shares in to public shares for the first time.
*Equity- share the capital price equally according to no.of.shares.
Share holder- who shares the capital together.
Promote-who promote the business from the base not necessarily be an owner.
Director- who runs the business.
Face value – the price offer by a company per share.
Dividends – profit given back to the share holders and divide into no.of.shares.
Bonus-company offers a shares instead of giving dividends.
Split- company increase existing shares under same capital.if the shares increases the price per share goes down.
Primary market – people directly invest in business without any mediators
Secondary market – people exchange their shares for good returns with help of stock brokers.
SEBI – regulatory authority in India.
Stock exchange in India – Nifty,sensex
Nifty – calculated under top 50 companies average performances but listed 1500 companies.
Sensex-calculated under top 30 companies average performances but listed more than 5000 companies.
