Hi,
Volume plays an important role in identifying reversals signs so, little change or decline in volume on a hanging man pattern is not a strong signal.

Just for reference…. read the below Criteria for Hanging man pattern:
Hanging man have a small real body and a long upper tail.
The lower tail should be invisible or very small in size
Hanging man occur after a significant rally.
Volume should be high during hanging man day.
