Closing Bell: The NSE NIFTY 50 Index fell 0.94 percent to settle at 10030.00 on Friday. Indian Equity benchmark NIFTY fell nearly 100 points for the second consecutive session on the last trading session of the week. On the weekly basis, NIFTY 50 Index declined 2.65 percent as failed to please investors, while second-quarter earnings results non-banking finance companies continued to face selling pressure.

All sector gauges compiled by NSE ended lower led by NIFTY PVT BANK, NIFTY IT, NIFTY BANK and NIFTY FMCG ended as top losers.

From the NIFTY50 basket of shares YESBANK, JSWSTEEL, AXISBANK, HCLTECH and GRASIM ended as top losers while UPL, TITAN, BAJAJ-AUTO, TATAMOTORS and BPCL are top gainers.
