Closing Bell: Nifty End Deep In Red On Trade War Fears
The broader NSE Nifty moved 151 points lower to settle at 11,672 level. Indian benchmark index nifty ended in deep red on Monday, dented by losses across sectors amid rising global crude oil prices and international trade tensions. All sectoral indices ended the day in the red. While most of the selling pressure was seen in metal, banking, oil & gas and auto stocks.

Morning Update: Nifty trade negative on trade war tensions, rise in crude oil prices
The broader Nifty50 index was down 59 points to 11,765 level on Monday. Indian equity benchmark index nifty were trading lower, dragged down by metal and bank stocks amid rising global crude oil prices and trade tensions between US and China. All the Nifty sectoral indices were trading in the red, with Nifty Metal, Nifty Realty indices, down over 1 per cent, taking the deepest cuts in the morning trade.
Top losers in the Nifty pack in morning trade included JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Grasim, Vedanta, RIL, Gail, IOC and Tata Motors, shedding up to 2 per cent. On the other hand, Infratel, Yes Bank, Wipro, India Bull Housing Finance and Zeel rose up to 1 per cent.
Meanwhile, foreign institutional investors sold equity worth Rs 8.41 crore, while domestic institutional investors bought shares to the tune of Rs 376.47 crore, on 14th June 2019.
