The NSE Nifty 50 Index slipped 2 points to close at 11,556 levels. Key equity index nifty pared morning losses to end flat on the back of gains in index heavyweights Reliance, Hero MotoCorp, L&T and Bajaj Finance were offset by losses in Titan Company, Tata Consultancy Services, ITC and HDFC Bank.

Market Update: Nifty trade volatile
The broader NSE Nifty were trading 21 points lower at 11,536 level. Equity benchmark index Nifty50 traded volatile after the gains in Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Bajaj Finance Ltd. were offset by losses in Titan Company Ltd. The market breadth was narrow on the NSE with 824 shares advancing, 880 shares declining, and 118 remaining unchanged.
The Nifty sectoral indices were trading mixed. Nifty Pharma index gained the most 2.25 per cent while Nifty IT slid the deepest 1.44 per cent.

Morning Update: Nifty extends post-budget downtrend
The broader 50-share Nifty dipped 70 points to trade at 11,487. Domestic equity index nifty continued to bleed for third straight trading session post-budget 2019 presentation on Friday. On the sectoral front, banking, realty, financial services and FMCG are trading marginally lower on the NSE, while buying is seen in the Media and pharma space.
Titan Company plunged 9 percent, followed by UPL, Asian Paints, HDFC, TCS, Kotak Bank and Bajaj FinServ which were down 1.3-2.9 percent while the top gainers were, ONGC, Yes Bank, Sun Pharma, Cipla, LT and Power Grid.
Shares of watch and jewellery maker Titan slipped 11 per cent in morning trade on Tuesday after the company said its consumption during April-June took a hit due to rising gold prices.
