Closing Bell: The NSE Nifty 50 index climbed 0.2 percent to settle at 10773 in the last trading session of the week. The Indian equity benchmarks rebounded from losses in the previous session led by gains in Auto and Energy stocks on Friday. On weekly basis, NIFTY posted gains as it advanced 0.66 percent  ahead of Earnings season. 

Among sector gauges compiled by the NSE NIFTY AUTO, NIFTY REALTY, NIFTY PSU BANK and NIFTY PHARMA outperformed as top gainers while NIFTY PHARMA, NIFTY MEDIA, NIFTY FMCG and NIFTY FIN SERVICE are top losers.

From the NIFTY 50 basket of shares, HINDPETRO, HEROMOTOCO, TATAMOTORS, GRASIM and TCS excelled as top gainers while CIPLA, TECHM, INFRATEL, SUNPHARMA and DRREDDY are top losers.
