it is the place where buyers and sellers of shares will meet for exchange… seller is the person who already hold the stock (shares) and in need of his money back.. Buyer is the person who has money and need to invest in stock (shares)
the seller and buyer will meet together in the stock market .when the price will increse and when it will decrease are to sel or buy.

Stock market is a type of market where the public can trade(buy or sell) their shares of companies they hold. The buying and selling of stocks or shares should be communicated to the corresponding company. but the traders can’t do this by themselves. So for this purpose the stock market the buying and selling of shares should be done only through stock market. The stock exchange will communicate our responses towards buying and selling of their to the companies. So this is one major benefit to public. And also they can have a clear transparency in transactions made through stock market.
